We are delighted to welcome the House of Photography as a new partner of 10Fotos. Located directly on Husum's outer harbor in a converted warehouse building, this extraordinary photography museum is an unconventional venue that is perfect for creative photographic art.

Since its opening in 2020, the museum has regularly hosted rotating exhibitions featuring exciting photographic works by artists ranging from emerging talents to established masters. The museum is divided into three areas—"Art in the Museum," "Art in the Hallway," and "Art in the Studio"—and offers a wide spectrum of works, from thoughtful to lighthearted.

The House of Photography is worth a visit because there's always something new to discover.

Major Update: Improved usability and numerous bug fixes

With the latest update, 10Fotos has received a major upgrade in terms of usability and functionality:
  • Dark mode implemented [ ☾ ]: The site can now be viewed in an eye-friendly dark mode, ideal for late-night surfing or high-contrast viewing.
  • Customizable font size [ A+ ]: The font size can now be customized to make it easier to read.
  • Manual mobile mode for the menu [ ⇄ ]: For touch-only tablets, the menu can now be manually switched to mobile mode for clearer and easier navigation.
  • More intelligent random images: The thumbnails in the sidebar only repeat once they are all displayed, for more variety while you browse.
  • Bug fixes in the side menu: Various visual issues in the side menu have been fixed to ensure a clean appearance.

From 4 May to 3 August 2025, the Haus der Photographie in Husum is showing a comprehensive retrospective of Rüdiger Beckmann's work. On display will be classic and contemporary giclées, numerous original cyanotypes, as well as experimental works with Lomo cameras and darkroom coincidences. The photographer will be present in person at the opening on 4 May 2025 at 5 pm (admission free), as well as at the finissage and other artist talks.
