Mike, known as Cologne Boudoir, was born in Hesse in the mid-70s and has lived in Cologne with his family since the beginning of this century. As an enthusiastic photographer, he has specialised in the sensual portrayal of people. He is equally passionate about boudoir and nude photography.

His photographic journey began around 2006 with landscape and architectural photography. But it wasn't until 2013, seven years later, that he decided to focus on sensual and erotic photography. For Mike, boudoir and nude photography is more than just a genre or a photographic style. It is a way of capturing a person's confidence, sensuality and personality in an intimate context.

Mike's attention to detail and sense of the emotional depth of a scene is particularly evident in his penchant for sophisticated black and white photography, where shape, lighting mood and the play of focus are the defining factors of the image. This choice of aesthetic allows him to focus on the essence of the moment, capturing the nuances of emotion in a way that colour would sometimes overwhelm.

Since immersing himself in the world of sensual photography, Mike has honed his art while continuing his journey as a photographic artist and human being. Despite the professionalism of his images, he continues to view photography purely as a hobby, a passion that fuels his creativity and drives him to capture the depth and beauty of human nature in images.
