Via detours from nature photography, my very great passion belongs to portrait photography. The quote from Aaron Siskind could not describe this love more aptly

„PHOTOGRAPHY IS A WAY OF FEELING, OF TOUCHING, OF LOVING. WHAT YOU HAVE CAUGHT ON FILM IS CAPTURED FOREVER… IT REMEMBERS LITTLE THINGS, LONG AFTER YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING.“

Inspired by great photographers like Peter Lindbergh, Vincent Peters, or Herb Ritts, I shoot mainly in black and white and with available light. My goal is to create photos that are authentic, bold, and yet have a subtlety and a sense of timelessness.

10Photos says: There is hardly anything to add to Selda's words, except perhaps that the pictures touch us emotionally. If the model laughs, we almost have to laugh with her. A thoughtful look and we think about what the model is thinking now. If we are looked at, then we feel addressed and are not just silent observers. Photographing emotions and moods is perhaps the most difficult discipline of photography. Selda masters this task with flying colors.
