Thomas Maschner - People and portrait photography

Thomas Maschner, born 1966, amateur photographer from Cologne, discovered his love for photography in the 80s and has been passionate about it ever since. Alongside his professional work in the insurance industry, photography provides him with a creative balance and a way to pursue his passion for discovering new things.

He is particularly interested in people and portrait photography, travel and landscape photography, as well as architectural photography. Thomas is particularly fascinated by capturing the diversity of people and the beauty of the world in stunning landscape images. The impressive architecture of various places also serves as an inspiring source of motifs for this versatile photographer. His favourite destinations are Iceland, Patagonia and Japan. The unique landscapes and fascinating cultures of these places offer him endless opportunities for unique photographs.

At 10Fotos, Thomas focuses on people photography, as this is where his creative side really shines.

In recent years, Thomas has enjoyed attending workshops to develop his skills, particularly with renowned photographers Martin Krolop and Sacha Leyendecker. There he gained valuable insights and tips on how to improve his photographic technique and style.

For this likeable amateur photographer, photography is not just a hobby, but a passion that enriches his life and gives him the opportunity to see the world through his own creative lens. The photo club City Treff e.V. Köln offers him a great community in which to share his enthusiasm for photography.
