Joachim Hassel, an ambitious photographer from Lebach, Germany, discovered his love for the camera and capturing moments at a young age. But it was not until 2019 that he dedicated himself entirely to photographing people.

Originally, Joachim was only an occasional photographer, but since discovering portrait photography, he has never looked back and his hobby has become a passion. After his retirement, he plans to photograph weddings from time to time, in addition to family and couple shoots.
What drives him is meeting people. Joachim loves capturing the personalities in front of his lens and seeing the joy they take in a successful image. For him, photography is more than just a craft - it is a way to build the self-confidence of the subjects. He wants them to see themselves in a new light and get a better picture of themselves.
His goal is to portray each person in front of his camera as well as possible. He knows that true beauty is often hidden. Joachim believes that one of the greatest challenges in portrait photography is to find the perfect in the imperfect.
With his art, Joachim strives not only to take pictures, but also to capture emotions and personalities. His portraits are not just images of people, but stories that tell of life and individuality.
