He has devoted himself to landscape photography for more than three decades — not as a passing hobby, but as a serious engagement with the natural world. Although he was initially drawn to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, he later rediscovered the wild and often overlooked beauty of the North Cascades on his doorstep. This proximity to his own habitat continues to influence his work to this day. For him, landscapes are not distant postcard motifs, but familiar spaces that are constantly being explored anew.

The works exhibited at 10Fotos reflect this attitude impressively. Enormous glaciers, softly drawn foggy landscapes, graphic birch trunks in autumn and abstract compositions of leaves floating in water demonstrate his vast range. The clarity of his visual language is particularly striking: lines lead precisely through the composition, colours are deliberately placed and light is used in a controlled manner, rather than being dramatised.
