Felix Röser

Felix Röser has been a freelance landscape photographer and location scout from Nuremberg since 2012. On his travels, he almost always forgoes the comfort of fixed accommodation and prefers to spend the night directly at the locations, either in a tent or in a car. This way, he always has the opportunity to be directly on location and to fully engage with his surroundings.

In addition to numerous print publications, he also gives workshops for Iceland-photo-tours.com. Since 2020, he has also hosted the video photography podcast "In Focus" with his friend and colleague Stefan Schäfer

10Photos says: Landscape photos full of contrast often make a strong and lasting impression. However, harmonising contrasts in a photo is far from easy. Felix does it perfectly. Quietness and dynamism, light and deep shadows, colour and colourlessness. All of these "elements" can be found in Felix's often abstract-looking landscapes. Sometimes we see photographs that could be from another world. Yet they are not exaggerated or kitsch. This is the art of landscape photography.
