For Tobias, landscape photography is more than just capturing a beautiful scene - it requires patience, experience and a sense of the perfect moment. He braves wind and weather, spends nights outdoors and enjoys the silence and solitude of nature. His way of working is always authentic. He rejects image manipulation or excessive post-processing. Instead, he relies on the natural beauty of the moment, which he optimises on location by making small adjustments, such as moving an ice floe or removing an obstructing rock. His aim is to capture reality as it is, in the best light, without distorting its essence.

As well as artistic and technical perfection, Tobias is also aware of the responsibility that comes with his work. In the age of social media and the growing popularity of nature photography, he is concerned that fragile landscapes are coming under increasing pressure from tourism and the hunt for the perfect image. That's why he deliberately refrains from revealing location information and actively campaigns for conservation.

In his Workshops , he takes photography enthusiasts to the most beautiful places in Switzerland and teaches not only technical skills, but also a deeper understanding of light, composition and the importance of the moment. In addition to the photography, he focuses on the overall experience - from the quiet morning hours with a steaming cup of coffee in hand to spontaneous surprises such as a glass of white wine from a glacial lake.
