Stefan Hefele, born in 1986, is a renowned travel, landscape and architectural photographer from Germany who has been working professionally since 2010. Stefan lives with his family in Bavarian Swabia and travels all over the world from there. His photographic territory spans the world's most diverse climates, from tropical rainforests to icy glaciers, from tranquil deserts to wild coastlines. The atmosphere on location plays a central role in his work, and the search for the perfect light is at the heart of his photographic vision. Stefan's portfolio is more than impressive. However, it is clear from his creative work that he is less concerned with the mere documentation of landscapes or regions than with aesthetics and visual beauty. His photographs are a firework of moods, colours and textures that transport the viewer into a world of harmony and emotion. Looking at his images, it quickly becomes clear that photography is not just a profession for Stefan, but a deep calling to which he devotes himself with passion, dedication and skill.

His work is based on intensive preparation, including map study and logistical planning. On location, Stefan often works in extreme conditions - whether it be long walks or uncomfortable overnights in a car - to capture the perfect moment. 10Fotos meint: Was uns an Stefan Hefele so begeistert, ist die beeindruckende Qualität und die enorme Vielfalt seiner Arbeiten. Diese Vielfalt bezieht sich nicht nur auf die unterschiedlichen Regionen, in denen er fotografiert, sondern auch auf die gestalterischen Möglichkeiten, die er in ähnlichen Motiven entdeckt. Stefan zeigt eindrucksvoll, dass allein durch die Wahl des richtigen Aufnahmezeitpunktes und der Perspektive selbst bei gleichen Szenen völlig unterschiedliche Bilder entstehen können. Ein Beispiel dafür sind seine Aufnahmen der Felsformationen in New Mexico und der beiden Wüstenlandschaften – gleiche Motive, aber jeweils anders interpretiert. Selten sind wir von der Tiefe und der Vermittlung unterschiedlicher Stimmungen so fasziniert wie bei seinen Fotografien. Stefans Arbeiten sind eine beeindruckende Hommage an die Schönheit und Vielfalt unseres Planeten. Als wir seine Bilder zum ersten Mal sahen, waren wir sprachlos – und mit dieser Galerie gelingt ihm das wieder. Das ist Landschaftsfotografie auf höchstem Niveau. Chapeau!
