Her passion for photography started in 2015 when she bought her first camera. She quickly developed and realised that she could realise her visions using advanced technology, filters and complex editing techniques. She uses methods such as focus stacking, panoramic shots and long exposures to create stunning images. Today, she works with state-of-the-art cameras and a vast arsenal of lenses and filters to create special moods.

Simone's images are fascinating for their versatility: sometimes colourful and vibrant, sometimes reduced and artistic, but always authentic. She loves to capture atmosphere, be it the warm light of dusk, dramatic cloud formations or misty mountain landscapes. Even adverse weather conditions such as rain and storms do not deter her - on the contrary, she uses them to create unique compositions. In her night shots, she achieves the perfect balance between sky and earth: stars and the Milky Way never compete with the landscape, but blend into a harmonious whole.

In addition to her photographic work, Simone Cmoon shares her knowledge through training courses, online coaching sessions and lectures, and has been a speaker at major photography events such as Photokina. She is a workshop leader at the Nikon School and an official Haida Filter photographer. Her courses are aimed at anyone who wants to improve their technique and learn how to capture special moods. Individuality is important to her: she wants to inspire her students to follow their own photographic path rather than just strive for technical perfection.

With numerous international awards to her name, including first place in the International Photographer of the Year Award and the DigitalPhoto HDR Contest, Simone Cmoon has made a name for herself in the world of fine art and landscape photography. She impressed the judges not only with her technical excellence, but also with her creative approach and ability to capture emotion in her images. Her work has been published in many prestigious magazines including National Geographic, GEO, USA Today, DigitalPhotoPro and FotoMAGAZIN.
