After retiring from his career, Peter Pape, from Grömitz in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, has made a passion of portrait and nude photography the centre of his life. Already fascinated by the camera as a child, he now devotes himself to people photography in his professional studio with impressive versatility.

Peter works with both experienced models and people who are in front of the camera for the first time. With patience, empathy and the ability to create a relaxed atmosphere, he takes away the insecurities of his models and makes it possible to take relaxed photos.

In his studio, Peter often uses the natural light streaming in through the windows to create soft, natural images. But he doesn't just shoot indoors, he also enjoys shooting outdoors, using natural and urban environments to capture atmospheric moments. From soft evening light to the play of sun and shadow, his outdoor shots are authentic and instantly captivating. Peter's keen sense of light, whether outdoors or indoors, is one of his trademarks and makes his photography so special.
