Norbert Rosing's pictures and his outstanding work have also been widely recognised on television and in the media. He has appeared on well-known TV shows such as 'Kerner', 'Markus Lanz', 'Stern TV' and '3 nach 9', most recently as a guest on 'DAS! - Gäste auf dem Roten Sofa'. These invitations underline not only his importance as a photographer, but also his impact as an ambassador for the beauty and fragility of nature. His stunning nature documentaries have also earned him international recognition, including publication in GEO and National Geographic. His special place in the world of nature photography is also recognised by his own Wikipedia article - an accolade few photographers receive.

His photographs are far more than just images of nature - they are works of art that tell stories. His decades-long exploration of the Arctic has been particularly influential. Since 1988, he has travelled more than 50 times to the Canadian Arctic, Greenland and Svalbard to capture the lives of polar bears and the fascinating beauty of polar landscapes. This passion has made him one of the leading experts and visual storytellers of this unique world.

But Germany's native landscapes also play a central role in his work. From the coasts to the rivers, from the low mountain ranges to the Alps, he documents the country's nature in all seasons. His portfolio is complemented by spectacular images from the vastness of the USA, especially Yellowstone National Park and the Southwest, as well as powerful reportages from Cuba, where he discovered the aesthetic power of black and white photography.

In recent years, Norbert has increasingly created monochrome works in which he captures the essence of nature and landscape in a unique way. The deliberate absence of colour draws the eye to structure, light, shadow and form. His images are of mystical beauty and are able to touch the viewer deeply. They show mysterious places and invite us to dream of legends and fairy tales. Whether it is the abstract beauty of water, forest and rock, or the striking depiction of ice and light, Norbert's work evokes longing and captivates with its magical atmosphere.

In addition to photography, Norbert is a gifted storyteller. His lectures on the Arctic and German nature have captivated thousands of listeners. With over 20 illustrated books, including bestsellers such as 'Wild Germany' and its successor 'My Wild Germany', he inspires people to appreciate and protect the fragile beauty of our planet. His work has also been recognised in surprising ways: motifs from his 'Wild Germany' project have been immortalised on nine stamps issued by the German Ministry of Finance.

Norbert's life's work is a tribute to the wonders of nature and the magic of special moments. His images, whether in colour or monochrome, combine technical perfection with deep emotional expression. They are not only documents of a unique world, but also invitations to see nature with new eyes.

A photographer with such an impressive portfolio, who has been creating images with a sometimes iconic character for decades, shows something special in 10Photos - something new and fascinating! Norbert's latest series is dedicated to a surprising protagonist: the Old Man's Beard (Clematis vitalba). Using the Leica M Monochrom, a camera that eschews colour in favour of black and white images with an extraordinary depth of detail and classic aesthetics, he stages this plant in a very special way. Since the early 2000s, he has been travelling around Germany to photograph the clematis, and his series is aptly titled 'Declaration of Love to an Unloved Plant'.
