In 2012 he intensified his hobby and started taking product photos for an online shop. YouTube and blogs became his teachers and over time he honed his skills. A key moment was a workshop with Jean Noir, which awakened his passion for lighting in portrait photography. Since 2016, Lutz has been working part-time as a photographer and dedicates himself to a wide range of subjects.

Seine Arbeit umfasst Sport-, Hochzeits-, Boudoir-, klassische Porträt- und Regenfotografie. Vor allem die Regenbilder stechen inhaltlich hervor. Einmal im Jahr organisiert er diese speziellen Sessions, die eine beeindruckende Kombination von Wassertropfen und Licht zeigen. Diese dynamischen, oft dunkleren Bilder strahlen Intensität aus und verstärken die sinnliche Wirkung im Boudoirbereich, ohne explizit viel Haut zu zeigen. Durch die perfekte Balance von Licht und Schatten wirken die Bilder sowohl künstlerisch als auch emotional ansprechend – wie das Titelbild hier eindrucksvoll beweist.

In his free and artistic work, which he shows here on 10Photos, Lutz often uses black and white photography, which is characterised by strong contrasts and striking shapes. He makes use of the available light or uses artificial light sources to emphasise shadows and structures. The contrasts between light and dark give his images an almost sculptural quality, with the human body and its emotions clearly at the centre. Landscapes and buildings are often used as backdrops, their hard lines providing an exciting contrast to the soft, lively forms of the people. This combination of contrasts - not only visually, but also in terms of content - creates an intense visual language that tells stories and captivates the viewer.

Lutz's artistic flair is particularly evident in his ability to combine the tenderness and emotionality of people with the hard structures of their surroundings. The clarity and depth of his black and white photographs, his creativity and openness to new ideas make each image seem like a small work of art. His image processing enhances this impression by deliberately using different techniques to enhance the character of the photographs.
