The ability to really perceive and understand the person in front of the camera characterizes Ingo's approach. For him, a shoot is more than just a technical task - it is a process in which trust and a pleasant atmosphere take center stage. Before and during the shoot, he conducts in-depth discussions and creates a relaxed environment with atmospheric music. This allows him to capture extraordinary and authentic moments that make his images unique.
Ingo describes his shoots as meetings between friends, where the focus is on the shared experience. His photographs are characterized by unusual poses, expressive facial expressions and the use of striking contrasts and accessories. His play with emotion is particularly exciting: His images invite you to pause, feel the moment, and immerse yourself in a world of emotion.
His preferred medium is black and white photography, which achieves a special effect through its reduction to the essential. When he does use color, it is always subtle and finely tuned to enhance the mood of the image. The chemistry between photographer and model is important to him, so he often calls in advance to ensure a harmonious collaboration. This approach and his keen sense of interpersonal nuance are reflected in the work of this personable photographer, which reveals not only the external beauty, but also the character and emotions of those portrayed.

¹) TFP (Time for Prints): In photography, TFP refers to a collaboration between photographer and model where there is no financial compensation. Instead, both parties invest their time in creating images together. In return, the model receives the photos for free use, usually for portfolio or social media purposes, while the photographer may also use the resulting images for his or her own projects.
